Born
in Birmingham, Alabama. Overseas veteran of Word War I and World
War II. Had military pilot ratings in both French and American
Air Service. Director of Aeronautics for State of Alabama for
more than 30 years. Established and developed the Alabama Airport
Program. During his service the airport program expanded by a
total of 143 airports. Past President of National Association
of State Aviation Officials. Selected as country's outstanding
State Director for International Exposition of Flight 1967. Listed
in Who's Who in World Aviation.
