Inspiring Young Pilot

Chelsie
Sloan

Chelsie is a senior at Auburn University majoring in Aviation Management and working for Auburn University Flight Education Center as a Flight Dispatcher. War Eagle!
After graduation Chelsie plans to continue her education and pursue a career in flight dispatch and aviation education.
She obtained her private pilot certificate in 2015 and continues to do fun flying in her spare time.
She interned with the Southern Museum of Flight summer of 2016.
She had the honor to assist with event planning along with the development of exhibits and curriculum alongside the Education Director, Melissa Morgan.
She is a member of Women in Aviation International which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests.
She is also member of The Ninety-Nines, an international organization of licensed women pilots from 44 countries. Established in 1929 by 99 women pilots, the members of The Ninety-Nines, Inc., International Organization of Women Pilots, are represented in all areas of aviation today.
